Food Bank Collection - Now Until January 23

We are collecting for our annual food drive for the St. Albert Food Bank! Collection runs until January 23. Students are encouraged to bring in their non-perishable food items. See attached for a list of most wanted items.

Last year the Keenooshayo community donated a total of 1250 lbs. Can we match that goal this year? You can make a difference in our community and world.

The Spirit of Giving - YouCan

Dear Keenooshayo Community,

At this time of the year, we often think of those in need and how we can help.  Attached you will find the information for our annual December UNESCO Charity collection.  In the past we have collected for the Kinnette Hampers, Hope Mission, and Operation Christmas Child.

This year we are excited to have connected with YOUCAN, an Edmonton based charity.  Please click here for additional information.  Cash donations of any amount can be dropped off in the office at Keenooshayo by Thursday, December 20, 2018.

Our goal is to raise $1000, which will be matched by a Keenooshayo family.

Happy Holidays

'Your Keeno Family'

PS:  Remember "You Can't have a Dollar Without a Penny', so no matter how much you give, it counts!

Playground Committee.....We need your help!

The playground structures between our school and Neil M. Ross are getting to the age where they will need to be replaced in the next few years.  In order to do this, we are asking for any volunteers who would be willing to serve on a playground committee to begin to work with the Neil M. Ross Parent Society as well as the City of St. Albert to plan, fundraise and apply for potential grants to fund the playground.

To serve on this committee can be either a short or long-term commitment.  Specifically, we are looking at individuals who have an interest/background in planning, budget-setting, public relations, etc.  If you have an interest in serving on the committee and/or have any questions, please feel free to contact any me.
