Fundraising Society

Keenooshayo Parents' Association

The Keenooshayo Parents' Association (KPA) is a community of parents. Every Keeno parent is automatically a member of the KPA. Our objective is to host a variety of fundraising activities that will benefit the students and school with extra money for school activities (camps, school trips), visual and performing art programs and technological upgrades as identified by the school administration. The KPA is also responsible for planning and hosting the Family Fall Festival and Spring Family Dance.

Notice of meetings is provided via Friday envelopes, newsletters, special notices and on our website. These meetings give parents the opportunity to decide on the types of events the KPA will host and fundraising priorities. We ask parents to bring any and all ideas to the meetings or contact a member of the board of directors. Minutes of the meetings are posted on the bulletin board outside the school office.

Chairperson: Linda Mack

Playground Committee

We need your help!

The playground structures between our school and Neil M. Ross are getting to the age where they will need to be replaced in the next few years. Therefore, we are asking for volunteers who would be willing to serve on a playground committee to begin to work with the Neil M. Ross Parent Society as well as the City of St. Albert to plan, fundraise and apply for potential grants to fund the playground.

To serve on this committee can be either a short or long-term commitment. Specifically, we are looking for individuals who have an interest/background in planning, budget-setting, public relations, etc. If you have an interest in serving on the committee or have any questions, please contact the school administration.
